Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The mission of the michael kurtzer chartiable foundation, inc. Is to provide financial support in the form of donations and scholarship to organizations that impacted michael's life, particularly those causes that support medical research and the pursuit of higher edication. The foundation's fundraising efforts will be focused on an annual golf tournament to be held in the month of september. Funds raised during this event will be donated to organizations that conduct research to find cures to diseases, such as cancer and amyotrpphioc lateral sclerosis (als). The majority of the funds raised will be donated to medical research institutions. Additionally, the foundation plans to issue a scholarship in michael's memory to a deserving graduation senior in each of sharon high school and norton high school. The foundation will not require essays or applications for an award and will rely on the recommendation of the respective town school committees.
