Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The disability resource network is dedicated to providing young adults with the skills they need to become positive and productive members of their communities. We encourage our clients to become actively involved in directing their own lives, across the spectrum of academic, vocational, living, social, and recreation domains.we believe that regardless of disability our young people can learn to make their own decisions and achieve independence. We strive to put an end to the societal stigma that often attaches to disability, and eliminate obstacles to inclusion, both real and perceived. We believe that by both encouraging young adults to live independently, and educating our communities, we can help motivate society as a whole to join the effort to remove physical, social, and opportunistic barriers that currently exist.
