Mission

Turtle Foundation implements sea turtle conservation and protection programs and seeks to raise funds for these programs. Turtle Foundation also supports sea turtle conservation programs implemented by other conservation organizations.

Description	Grants	Expenses
Turtle Foundation USA supports turtle conservation projects implemented by Turtle Foundation Germany and Turtle Foundation Switzerland, which has been running a successful Green Turtle nesting beach protection program in the Berau Islands in Indonesia since 2000. Nests are protected from being poached for eggs, allowing millions of hatchlings to enter the sea. TF Germany and Turtle Foundation Switzerland also run a Loggerhead Turtle protection project in Cape Verde, West Africa, protecting turtles from being slaughtered, running youth education programs regarding ecology, and helping the community find alternative sources of income.	$96,842	$0
