| Development of a digital, searchable database of systemic autoinflammatory diseases, and expansion of our resources and content online. This project was to take our current wall chart and pdf of the comparative chart of autoinflammatory diseases that have in print, and online as a download into a more user-friendly and informative format. There is nothing like this online, and our current pdf and wall chart has become the leading resource worldwide for use by medical professionals to learn and refer to when considering autoinflammatory diseases as a possible diagnosis in patients, and has been distributed worldwide in print and downloaded thousands of times in the past year. But it is a large file, difficult to update for all the new diseases that have been recently classified, and difficult to search. So this new website database will allow for ease of use and aid medical professionals and others to learn more about these diseases, and aid them in considering autoinflammatory diseases when seeking a diagnosis for their patients. In addition, this project has a companion project where we are developing disease-specific websites for a number of these diseases in common terms for patients that are in need of information that they can understand, and resources. This is known as our digital universe project, that is more directed at educating the patient and community about these diseases, in more detail than our current website. Both projects are coming about due to unusual grant funding-outside our normal funding. Our current website has over 40,000 hits a month, and our blog has over 8,000 a month, so we expect that these new sites, that will be linked to our other sites will have an even larger impact. We have consulted with medical advisors for this project and will have the content reviewed by them too. | $96,945 | $96,945 |
| Blog development and content creation/editing. In 2014, we launched our saidsupport.org blog online, which was developed to address common questions that come up in our patient community, and build more online resources for patients and medical professionals to access. This project was started in 2013, but launched for Rare Disease Day in 2014. The site has become a leading resource online, and has a global reach, with thousands of visitors every month, which is increasing monthly. In addition, engagement by the community has been immense, with some blog posts having been shared on social media thousands of times, which has helped the general population to better know and understand these diseases, and how it affects our patients. The initial costs to develop this blog site were mostly to create the website, and content, and all the security and other needs. The ongoing costs will be more for basic maintenance and some hourly work for programming, writing/ editing and upkeep of the site. This blog has become one of the most popular new things we have offered to patients, and has also helped for us to better communicate to many about what our organization does, and how we help people, in addition to bringing helpful content about newly classified diseases, or new insights on known diseases, plus articles on topics that the patients want to know about, from dealing with education needs for children with these chronic diseases to how to safely travel with injectable medications that need refrigeration. | $4,409 | $4,409 |
| Autoinflammatory Disease Patient Picnics in 4 locations in 2014. New Jersey, Ohio, Northern and Southern California. These picnics were for patients with autoinflammatory diseases of all ages, and their loved ones. Most patients have not had a chance to meet others in person with their disease, so these picnics were greatly wanted by our community. This was the first year for these picnics, and we will do them in other locations in future years. Each site was set up to host 50-100 people, with the option to expand as needed. We had a great turnout, and community engagement with many in-kind donations for food, games and activities from a number of local and national companies, so we were able to keep the costs lower. We also received pro-bono identity, signage, flyer design, bean bag toss and a highlights video of the picnics by The Cement Bloc as an in-kind donation that made the events even more special. These are rare diseases, so these gatherings were the largest gatherings of patients with autoinflammatory diseases in the US. | $4,206 | $4,206 |

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 1 | In 2014, we officially changed or name to the Autoinflammatory Alliance, Inc. from The NOMID Alliance, Inc. We have kept The NOMID Alliance, Inc and NOMID Alliance as DBA's but the Autoinflammatory Alliance, Inc, aka Autoinflammatory Alliance is our official main name now. We have updated this with all local, state and federal agencies, and I will attach our updated Articles of Incorporation and IRS letter to this 990. |

| ReasonableCauseExplanation/ExplanationTxt | 0 | We filed a 2014 e-postcard already on 5/15/15, which we understood was the requirement since we usually bring in less than $50,000 a year. But we got unusual grant funds in 2014 so we are also filing a full 990, and wanted to do so to also have it for state filings. |
