1.enhance public awareness and understanding of science and technology.2.build on and expand pst credibility with regional and national decision makers, opinion leaders and stakeholders.3.promote new missions at the idaho national laboratory and throughout the region that are in the public interest.4.promote nuclear and other clean energy research and development in support of national energy security.5.promote support and funding for idaho national laboratory cleanup and research projects.6.raise awareness of the economic benefits of the science, energy, and technology industries in the region.7.participate and provide comments during formal public comment and public outreach initiatives to impact decitions on regional science, energy, and technology activities.8.establish strategic alliances with similar organizations nationally to advance the pst mission and goals.
