“2013 track season - ruhs cct booster club actively supported the redondo union high school track team by sponsoring and directly supporting 5 track meets with volunteer support from our parents, students, alumni, and fans. A)2013 redondo nike track festival and distant carnival invite representing 50+ schools with1500 athletes competing. B)all comers track meet c)three bay league track meets - ruhs cct booster club supported transportation and logistics for the redondo union high school track athletes attending state and national events. A) the national pole vault summit in reno, nevada b) new balance national track meet in north carolina c) cif division d) state track meets - supported both of the teams end of the year team awards banquets; a) track season b) cross season - redondo union high schools girls and boys distance medley relay teams both won and were the only teams from one school to win this event in the prestigious arcadia invitational meets history. Girls also won the 4x800 and 1600 meter sprint medley relay. - girls were runners up in cif as a team. We had an individual champion in the 1600m and 4x400 relay and qualified 2 girls for state in1600 and one in 800. - girls were undefeated in bay league meets for the 4th year in a row. 2013 cross country season - supported the annual high altitude team training camps in big bear and mammoth - supported with transportation and logistics support to send athletes on travel trips for out of state invitationals, and the state meet. A) mesa arizona - twilight dessert invitational b) fresno invitational c) mt sac walnut ca - cif pre-lim and cif finals d) fresno - state meet -managed bay league 2 cross country meet involving 600+ athletes - redondo union high school cross country girls team were runners up in cif finals -redondo union high school cross country boys and girls teams qualified for the cif state championships. - girls were 2nd at the cif state meet.”
