Mission

Our mission is to serve and honor veterans and their families by empowering them to build meaningful lives through connections to fulfilling careers, benefits, and services; and to proactively strengthen veteran communities through leadership and collaboration.

Still serving veterans helps veterans and their families secure fulfilling employment, access to va benefits earned through military service and other resources needed to build satisfying civilian lives. We also strive to strenghten our veteran communities with leadership and collaboration.

CLIENTS ALSO LEARN SALARY NEGOTIATION AND INTERVIEW SKILLS. WE OFFER INTENSIVE WORKSHOPS TO HELP VETERANS DECIDE WHAT CAREER PATH THEY WANT TO TAKE AFTER MILITARY SERVICE. SSV ALSO PROVIDES VA BENEFITS ASSISTANCE TO CLIENTS AND SECURED $6.24 MILLION IN VA BENEFITS ON THEIR BEHALF. SSV SERVED AS OUR GOVERNOR'S LEAD NON-PROFIT ADVISOR ON MANY VETERAN-RELATED ISSUES. MORE THAN 2,400 VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WERE SERVED DURING 2022. SSV DOES NOT CHARGE ANYONE FOR OUR SERVICES, WHICH ARE PAID FOR BY THE GENEROSITY OF OUR GRANTORS AND DONORS. SSV WAS HONORED TO ONCE AGAIN BE A PRIMARY GRANTEE FOR THE CALL OF DUTY ENDOWMENT IN 2022.
