Mission

Assist people who are experiencing who are struggling to maintain food, shelter, and clothing

In partnership with 2nd harvest and local schools, the organization provides four weekend meals during the school year for food-insecure children.the organization maintains a centrally located storage and distribution facility that provides nourishing food to more than 800 people every month.the organization provides good quality clothing twice a month to help individuals and families with clothing needs.the organization sends teams into the community to assist in events such as neighborhood clean up and school supply distributions.

WE DISTRITBUTED ALMOST 500,000 POUNDS OF FOOD.AS A 2nd HAREVEST PARTNER AGENCY, WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE FOOD BOXES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND TEFAP GOVERNMENT FOOD FOR THOSE IN NEED.WE PARTNERED WITH 2nd HARVEST TO PROVIDE FOUR WEEKEND "BITE-TO-GO" MEALS FOR 100 CHILDREN EVERY WEEK DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.OUR OWN SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM GAVE A WEEK'S WORTH OF FOOD TO 45 CHILDREN FOR EIGHT WEEKS DURING THE SUMMER.OUR CLOTHING OUTREACH HAS PROVIDED 24,000 POUNDS OF CLOTHING TO OUR CLIENTS, INCLUDING SPORT ITEMS, PROM DRESSES, WARM CLOTHING, AND A WEDDING GOWN!WE WERE ABLE TO BRING BOXES OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO OUR LOCAL SCHOOLS IN AUGUST AND FEBRUARY FOR SOCIAL WORKERS TO GIVE OUT TO FAMILIES IN NEED.DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON, 150 ADULTS AND CHILDREN ATTENDED OUR ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY WHERE THERE WERE ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS WHILE THE ADULTS CHOSE WARM CLOTHING FOR THE FAMILY AND WRAPPED GIFTS THAT THEY CHOSE FOR THEIR CHILDREN.ALL OF THIS IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF THE CARING PEOPLE IN OUR COMMUNITY - SPORTS TEAMS, CHURCHES, BUSINESSES - HAVE ALL CONTRIBUTED TO SERVE OUR NEIGHBORS.
