Mission

Presentation partners in housings (ppih) mission is to assist individuals and families experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. Ppih imagines a just and equitable fargo-moorhead community where the most vulnerable among us are treated with dignity and respect and have a stable home so each person can attend to their body, mind, and spririt, and pursue a life of meaning and purpose.

Presentation partners in housing provides homeless prevention, housing navigation, permanent supportive housing, and critical resources to individuals and families at risk of or experiencing homelessness.

Presentation partners in housing is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. All activities conducted by the organization are related to its exempt purpose; therefore, no provision has been made for income taxes on these financial statements. Management is required to evaluate tax positions taken by the organization and determine if the organization has taken an uncertain position that more likely than not would be sustained upon examination by taxing authorities. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken by the organization and has concluded that as of june 30, 2025, there are no uncertain tax taken.

BY REDUCING TIME SPENT UNHOUSED AND PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE HOUSING OUTCOMES, PPIH ADVANCED ITS MISSION TO END HOMELESSNESS THROUGH COMPASSIONATE, LOW-BARRIER SERVICES. THE PROGRAM ALSO REDUCED HIGH-COST EMERGENCY SERVICE UTILIZATION, INCLUDING EMERGENCY ROOM VISITS, JAIL BOOKINGS, DETOX AND WITHDRAWAL MANAGEMENT ADMISSIONS, EMERGENCY SHELTER STAYS, AND AMBULANCE TRANSPORTS. PPIH WORKED DIRECTLY WITH INDIVIDUALS FACING IMMINENT LOSS OF HOUSING TO RECEIVE TARGETED PREVENTION SERVICES, INCLUDING CASE MANAGEMENT, LANDLORD MEDIATION, AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR RENTAL ARREARS, UTILITIES, AND OTHER SHORT-TERM HOUSING NEEDS. THESE INTERVENTIONS NOT ONLY PREVENTED HOMELESSNESS FOR HUNDREDS OF HOUSEHOLDS BUT ALSO REDUCED INFLOW INTO AN OVERBURDENED HOMELESS RESPONSE SYSTEM, PROMOTING STABILITY AND IMPROVING OUTCOMES FOR THE INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES SERVED.
