Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The organization is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from income taxes under sections 501(c)(3), 509(a)(1), and 170(b)(1)(a)(iv) of the internal revenue code (irc). The organization is not classified as a private foundation. The organization follows guidance issued by the financial accounting standards board (fasb) on accounting for income taxes and has evaluated its tax positions, expiring statutes of limitations, audits, proposed settlements, changes in tax law and new authoritative rulings, and believes that no provision for income taxes is necessary to cover any uncertain tax positions. The organization's return for tax years 2020 and later remain subject to examination by taxing authorities.
