The foundation's primary mission is to serve a critical role to proactively initiate positive change in the areas of affordable housing, community and economic development, and arts and culture. The foundation is focused on opportunities which promote long term sustainability, support innovation, and leverage significant impact.the foundation's mission has recently been expanded to include:establishing a grant program to provide qualified low-income individuals identified by social service agencies with monthly rent assistance subsidies. The purpose of the program is to encourage life change by conditioning the provision of housing on the maintenance of stable employment, a stable home environment and by requiring the grant awardees to refrain from using drugs and abusing alcohol.developing and funding programs to combat community deterioration and juvenile delinquency for the benefit of low-income children and their families.
