Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 15

Compensation for the organization's president, officers, and other key employees is determined by the governing body of which nine of the ten members are independent persons. The process includes comparison of organization compensation levels with industry standards. In 2015 the organization hired an outside consulting firm that specializes in non-profit compensation to determine compensation levels for senior management of the organization. This process is documented in organization minutes and other contemporaneous records.

Form 990, Part XII, Line 2C

The organization assumes responsibility for oversight of the audit of its financial statements and selection of an independent accountant. This process is unchanged from the prior year.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

Ctc is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. In addition, a determination has been made by the internal revenue service that ctc is not a "private foundation" within the meaning of section 509(a) of the internal revenue code. Ctc recognizes the effects of tax positions only when they are more likely than not of being sustained. Management has determined that ctc had no uncertain tax positions that would require financial statement recognition. As of december 31, 2015, tax years dating back to 2012 remain open for examination by federal and state authorities.
