“Human rights awareness-latam project united for human rights partnered with the costa rica soccer federation to produce a "what are human rights" booklet featuring the costa rica national team that attended the fifa world cup in russia. During the world cup human rights lectures were delivered and booklets distributed to children across all municipalities in costa rica. Alliances were formed in 18 municipalities to promote the universal declaration of human rights as well as with 5 states in mexico. Three human rights summits were held in mexico as well as attending the human rights summit at the united nations headquarters in new york.”

African chapters of youth for human rights and the african literacy project were visited by a representative of the organization to ensure these chapters were working towards educating individuals on human rights and education. Where youth for human rights volunteers from california, delaware,florida, and new york were presented with the prestigious presidental volunteer service award. Proclamations and congratulatory letters were received from mayors, state assemblymen,congressmen, us representatives, and more. International human rights day more than 250 worldwide events, banquets, workshops, and peace walks were held in some 60 countries to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the united nations declaration of human rights. Educators, religious leaders, scholars, students and other members of the community at large participated. Los angeles human rights events a 10 week series of human rights events was attended by various supportative individuals and groups. A petition was signed and taken to the state capitol in sacramento, california requesting that the united nations declaration of human rights be taught in all educational facilities in california. This would set a precedent for national adoption in the usa. International human rights summit the 15th annual international human rights summit was held at the united nations headquarters. The 3-day conference was attended by 95 delegates from 57 countries and 5 continents and included 400 participants from 75 countries. All shared their experiences of teaching human rights in their communities. Misc accomplishments workshops were held to raise awareness about human trafficking and propose human rights education as a preventative measure. Multi-lingual online platforms were used by educators,students,law enforcement officials, and nongovernment institutions to facilitate human rights education. This included online art and essay contests. Workshops were held in schools, colleges, and universities including train-the trainer seminars about how to teach the universal declaration of human rights.”

INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY MORE THAN 250 WORLDWIDE EVENTS, BANQUETS, WORKSHOPS, AND PEACE WALKS WERE HELD IN SOME 60 COUNTRIES TO CELEBRATE THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE UNITED NATIONS DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS. EDUCATORS, RELIGIOUS LEADERS, SCHOLARS, STUDENTS AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE PARTICIPATED. LOS ANGELES HUMAN RIGHTS EVENTS A 10 WEEK SERIES OF HUMAN RIGHTS EVENTS WAS ATTENDED BY VARIOUS SUPPORTATIVE INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS. A PETITION WAS SIGNED AND TAKEN TO THE STATE CAPITOL IN SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA REQUESTING THAT THE UNITED NATIONS DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS BE TAUGHT IN ALL EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES IN CALIFORNIA. THIS WOULD SET A PRECEDENT FOR NATIONAL ADOPTION IN THE USA. INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMIT THE 15TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS SUMMIT WAS HELD AT THE UNITED NATIONS HEADQUARTERS. THE 3-DAY CONFERENCE WAS ATTENDED BY 95 DELEGATES FROM 57 COUNTRIES AND 5 CONTINENTS AND INCLUDED 400 PARTICIPANTS FROM 75 COUNTRIES.
