Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The fund's belief is that disaster relief often focuses upon victims' immediate needs for food, shelter, clothing, medicines and does not also take into account the longer-term need to restore public capital improvements ("infrastructure") upon which long-term prosperity depends. In consequence, the fund intends to devote its efforts to restoration of infrastructure following disasters generally, man-made as well as natural.
