Tipping point's board underwrites all operating and fundraising expenses so that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to the fight against poverty. Beyond dollars, tipping point provides its grantees with the communications, technical and management assistance they need to grow and increase their impact. Tipping point grants are unrestricted, allowing their grantees to invest in the strategy, operations and staffing required to serve their clients most effectively.

Tipping point fights poverty in the bay area for the 1.3 million people too poor to meet their basic needs.
Tipping point community is the bay area's leading philanthropic organization focused on fighting poverty. Since 2005, we've raised and invested more than $474 million in organizations that tackle the root causes of poverty and help people build lasting stability. Last year alone, our grantees helped nearly 91,000 bay area residents get support in housing, early childhood, education, and employment.
