“Attack theatre's audience is as vast as its programming. Over the last 24 years, more than 370,000 people of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, nationalities and economic backgrounds have been attracted to the rich multiplicity of attack theatre's work. The diverse nature of the company's audience, collaborators, and participants is achieved through frequent partnerships with artists, arts organizations, and educational partners. These collaborations blur the lines between art forms and embrace diverse audience demographics and aesthetic perspectives. Attack theatre's programs take place in a wide variety of traditional and non- traditional venues across the southwestern pennsylvania region and on tour each year. In fiscal year 2018, four mainstage/self-produced works were held in locations across allegheny county including attack theatre's shared space with the pittsburgh opera in the strip district, a site-specific location in homestead, ace hotel in east liberty, spirit in lawrenceville, contemporary craft in the strip district and unsmoke systems artspace in braddock. The company presented 1,150 performances, workshops, and residencies for primary and secondary school students and teachers in southwestern pennsylvania and performed in 24 public events in allegheny county (mainstage performances, special events, commissions and collaborations). Attack theatre's mainstage performances, touring performances, arts education,community engagement, and collaborative programs reached 19,647 people. Many of these programs were offered for free or reduced ticket prices in order to remove financial barriers for attendance.”

THE DIVERSE NATURE OF THE COMPANY'S AUDIENCE, COLLABORATORS, AND PARTICIPANTS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH FREQUENT PARTNERSHIPS WITH ARTISTS, ARTS ORGANIZATIONS, AND EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS. THESE COLLABORATIONS BLUR THE LINES BETWEEN ART FORMS AND EMBRACE DIVERSE AUDIENCE DEMOGRAPHICS AND AESTHETIC PERSPECTIVES. ATTACK THEATRE'S PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF TRADITIONAL AND NON- TRADITIONAL VENUES ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGION AND ON TOUR EACH YEAR. IN FISCAL YEAR 2018, FOUR MAINSTAGE/SELF-PRODUCED WORKS WERE HELD IN LOCATIONS ACROSS ALLEGHENY COUNTY INCLUDING ATTACK THEATRE'S SHARED SPACE WITH THE PITTSBURGH OPERA IN THE STRIP DISTRICT, A SITE-SPECIFIC LOCATION IN HOMESTEAD, ACE HOTEL IN EAST LIBERTY, SPIRIT IN LAWRENCEVILLE, CONTEMPORARY CRAFT IN THE STRIP DISTRICT AND UNSMOKE SYSTEMS ARTSPACE IN BRADDOCK. THE COMPANY PRESENTED 1,150 PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS, AND RESIDENCIES FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS IN SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND PERFORMED IN 24 PUBLIC EVENTS IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY (MAINSTAGE PERFORMANCES, SPECIAL EVENTS, COMMISSIONS AND COLLABORATIONS). THE DIVERSE NATURE OF THE COMPANY'S AUDIENCE, COLLABORATORS, AND PARTICIPANTS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH FREQUENT PARTNERSHIPS WITH ARTISTS, ARTS ORGANIZATIONS, AND EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS. THESE COLLABORATIONS BLUR THE LINES BETWEEN ART FORMS AND EMBRACE DIVERSE AUDIENCE DEMOGRAPHICS AND AESTHETIC PERSPECTIVES. ATTACK THEATRE'S PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF TRADITIONAL AND NON- TRADITIONAL VENUES ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGION AND ON TOUR EACH YEAR. IN FISCAL YEAR 2018, FOUR MAINSTAGE/SELF-PRODUCED WORKS WERE HELD IN LOCATIONS ACROSS ALLEGHENY COUNTY INCLUDING ATTACK THEATRE'S SHARED SPACE WITH THE PITTSBURGH OPERA IN THE STRIP DISTRICT, A SITE-SPECIFIC LOCATION IN HOMESTEAD, ACE HOTEL IN EAST LIBERTY, SPIRIT IN LAWRENCEVILLE, CONTEMPORARY CRAFT IN THE STRIP DISTRICT AND UNSMOKE SYSTEMS ARTSPACE IN BRADDOCK. THE COMPANY PRESENTED 1,150 PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS, AND RESIDENCIES FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS IN SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND PERFORMED IN 24 PUBLIC EVENTS IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY (MAINSTAGE PERFORMANCES, SPECIAL EVENTS, COMMISSIONS AND COLLABORATIONS). ATTACK THEATRE'S MAINSTAGE PERFORMANCES, TOURING PERFORMANCES, ARTS EDUCATION,COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, AND COLLABORATIVE PROGRAMS REACHED 19,647 PEOPLE. MANY OF THESE PROGRAMS WERE OFFERED FOR FREE OR REDUCED TICKET PRICES IN ORDER TO REMOVE FINANCIAL BARRIERS FOR ATTENDANCE. |
