Attack theatre is a movement that exercises an artful expression of life through dance.

Building community through the process & production of personal, accessible dance-based performance, attack theatre blends varied art forms with dynamic contemporary dance creating passionate portrayals of everyday life.

All board members and the executive director comply with the terms of the conflict of interest policy. Once a year, a memo is sent to affected individuals asking for a list of family members, substantial business or investment holding, or other affiliations that might give rise to a conflict of interest, or state that there are none. The individuals are given three weeks to provide a list, and reminders are sent to anyone who has not returned a list in that time. If a potential or actual conflict of interest is apparent, the conflicted individual is prohibited from participating in the governing body's deliberations and decisions in any transaction with the subject of the conflict until a time when said conflict no longer exists.

Attack theatre's audience is as vast as its programming. Over the last 21 years, more than 335,000 people of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, nationalities and economic backgrounds have been attracted to the rich multiplicity of attack theatre's work. The diverse nature of the company's audience, collaborators, and participants is achieved through frequent partnerships with artists, arts organizations, and educational partners. These collaborations blur the lines between art forms and embrace diverse audience demographics and aesthetic perspectives. Attack theatre's programs take place in a wide variety of traditional and non- traditional venues across the southwestern pennsylvania region and on tour each year. In fiscal year 2016, five mainstage/self-produced works were held in locations across allegheny county including attack theatre's shared space with the pittsburgh opera in the strip district, the new hazlett theater in the northside, ace hotel in east liberty, a former auto body shop in uptown, and spirit in lawrenceville. The company presented appropximately 75 unique performances, workshops, and residencies for primary and secondary school students and teachers in southwestern pennsylvania and performed in 70 public events in allegheny county. Attack theatre's mainstage performances, touring performances, arts education, community engagement, and collaborative programs reached 33,471 people. Many of these programs were offered for free or reduced ticket prices in order to remove financial barriers for attendance.

OVER THE LAST 21 YEARS, MORE THAN 335,000 PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, RACES, GENDERS, SEXUAL ORIENTATIONS, NATIONALITIES AND ECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS HAVE BEEN ATTRACTED TO THE RICH MULTIPLICITY OF ATTACK THEATRE'S WORK. THE DIVERSE NATURE OF THE COMPANY'S AUDIENCE, COLLABORATORS, AND PARTICIPANTS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH FREQUENT PARTNERSHIPS WITH ARTISTS, ARTS ORGANIZATIONS, AND EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS. THESE COLLABORATIONS BLUR THE LINES BETWEEN ART FORMS AND EMBRACE DIVERSE AUDIENCE DEMOGRAPHICS AND AESTHETIC PERSPECTIVES. ATTACK THEATRE'S PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF TRADITIONAL AND NON- TRADITIONAL VENUES ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGION AND ON TOUR EACH YEAR. IN FISCAL YEAR 2016, FIVE MAINSTAGE/SELF-PRODUCED WORKS WERE HELD IN LOCATIONS ACROSS ALLEGHENY COUNTY INCLUDING ATTACK THEATRE'S SHARED SPACE WITH THE PITTSBURGH OPERA IN THE STRIP DISTRICT, THE NEW HAZLETT THEATER IN THE NORTHSIDE, ACE HOTEL IN EAST LIBERTY, A FORMER AUTO BODY SHOP IN UPTOWN, AND SPIRIT IN LAWRENCEVILLE. THE COMPANY PRESENTED APPROPXIMATELY 75 UNIQUE PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS, AND RESIDENCIES FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS IN SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND PERFORMED IN 70 PUBLIC EVENTS IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY. ATTACK THEATRE'S MAINSTAGE PERFORMANCES, TOURING PERFORMANCES, ARTS EDUCATION, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, AND COLLABORATIVE PROGRAMS REACHED 33,471 PEOPLE. MANY OF THESE PROGRAMS WERE OFFERED FOR FREE OR REDUCED TICKET PRICES IN ORDER TO REMOVE FINANCIAL BARRIERS FOR ATTENDANCE.

THE DIVERSE NATURE OF THE COMPANY'S AUDIENCE, COLLABORATORS, AND PARTICIPANTS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH FREQUENT PARTNERSHIPS WITH ARTISTS, ARTS ORGANIZATIONS, AND EDUCATIONAL PARTNERS. THESE COLLABORATIONS BLUR THE LINES BETWEEN ART FORMS AND EMBRACE DIVERSE AUDIENCE DEMOGRAPHICS AND AESTHETIC PERSPECTIVES. ATTACK THEATRE'S PROGRAMS TAKE PLACE IN A WIDE VARIETY OF TRADITIONAL AND NON- TRADITIONAL VENUES ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGION AND ON TOUR EACH YEAR. IN FISCAL YEAR 2016, FIVE MAINSTAGE/SELF-PRODUCED WORKS WERE HELD IN LOCATIONS ACROSS ALLEGHENY COUNTY INCLUDING ATTACK THEATRE'S SHARED SPACE WITH THE PITTSBURGH OPERA IN THE STRIP DISTRICT, THE NEW HAZLETT THEATER IN THE NORTHSIDE, ACE HOTEL IN EAST LIBERTY, A FORMER AUTO BODY SHOP IN UPTOWN, AND SPIRIT IN LAWRENCEVILLE. THE COMPANY PRESENTED APPROPXIMATELY 75 UNIQUE PERFORMANCES, WORKSHOPS, AND RESIDENCIES FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS IN SOUTHWESTERN PENNSYLVANIA AND PERFORMED IN 70 PUBLIC EVENTS IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY. ATTACK THEATRE'S MAINSTAGE PERFORMANCES, TOURING PERFORMANCES, ARTS EDUCATION, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, AND COLLABORATIVE PROGRAMS REACHED 33,471 PEOPLE. MANY OF THESE PROGRAMS WERE OFFERED FOR FREE OR REDUCED TICKET PRICES IN ORDER TO REMOVE FINANCIAL BARRIERS FOR ATTENDANCE.
