Mission

The organization's mission is to be a catalyst in drowning prevention by addressing and supporting drowning prevention efforts for persons of all ages and drowning risks of all types of bodies of water. As a short-term goal, the ndpa is placing emphasis on research, awareness, and policy changes to impact the incidence of toddler drowning in swimming pools.

The organization's mission by working together we can prevent the tragedy of drowning.we will help to prevent drowning and aquatic injuries by providing a forum to:increase awareness through effective programs, messages, and resources to educate and engage the publicadvise, assist and promote organizations, partners, chapters, and members who work to prevent drowning and aquatic injuriespromote best practices and provide access to expert information, programs, training, and resourcesexpand our reach and membership through effective alliances and education, both nationally and internationallyensure long-term sustainability of ndpa
