| The Summer Lunch Program is a partnership between the Burlington Parks and Recreation Department, Burlington Schools Food Service, and the Burlington Housing Authority, to administer the Recreation and Nutrition Summer Drop-In Programs at three of BHAs low-income housing communities: Franklin Square, Riverside Apartments and Bobbin Mill Apartments. The program enables low-income children to have summer access to nutritious meals and supervised programming and served nearly 145 Burlington children in the summer of 2015. Revenues and expenses in 2015 were both $9,000. | $9,000 | - |
| Other Programs:The Newmans Own Foundation Grant which provided support services for seniors and adults with disabilities in 2015. Individualized care management plans are created and adjusted depending on need. This subsidy program is funded in full by the Newmans Own Foundation and in 2015 can be credited with saving 2 residents from eviction resulting from difficulties maintaining their apartment due to hoarding or other issues. The Money Camp Financial Literacy Program is a financial literacy program for children ages 10-14. The Money Camp Financial Literacy Curriculum focuses not only on the basic principles of money, money flow, financial vocabulary, financial statements, and basic investing, but also on the important concept that the beliefs and attitudes children develop about money early on in life, have a direct and lasting effect on their financial futures. Unfortunately, due to extenuating circumstances, we were not able to offer any Money Camp Financial Literacy classes in 2015. We are looking forward to bringing the program back to the family developments in 2016. The Undesignated Donation Fund is allocated under the direction of the Burlington Housing Authority Director of Housing Retention and Services to promote self-sufficiency among low-income people residing in the Burlington Area. For all programs listed in this section, in 2015, combined revenues were $4,600 and combined expenses were $1,104. | $4,600 | - |

Burlington Supportive Housing Initiatives, Inc. is the sponsoring agency. In 2015, the HelpFund served 41 households with rent assistance, utilities and transportation to ensure homelessness was avoided. | The Hoarding Task Force provides trainings and case consultations related to hoarding and squalor. Often, the referrals made to the BHA housing retention program are complex.
