The mission of the dr. Bernett johnson sayre health center is to provide reachable, culturally-aware, community based primary and preventive health care services to the underserved west philadelphia community and surrounding areas. Located just near the william l. Sayre high school, the health center is dedicated to centering, elevating, and advocating for students exploring health, wellness, and social & environmental health and activism. Sayre health center offers health services education for high school students, as well as undergraduate, graduate, and professional students from universities and colleges in the area. Through a peaceably led outreach team, sayre health center offers community engagement that missions to highlight and continue conversations on health and wellness in underserved philadelphia communities.
