“Training and Supporting Missionaries During 2019, Nexus travelled to 44 different nations with Indigenous Mission, Orphanage, Foundation and School Leaders to Equip, Train and Encourage them in their work. Two Nexus Staff members live in Romania 9 months each year and are involved with 10 different youth serving organizations and churches. They are involved with 50 different youth leaders. Provided Seminars focusing on Wilderness Camping skills, conducted in 5 different nations with 155 different church and mission leaders in attendance. 100 Different youth from Colorado had a Wilderness Camping experience fueled by Nexus training of adult leaders. 45 different leadership development seminars were offered globally in 35 different nations with over 1,000 different leaders in attendance. The seminars focused on leadership development of the next generation and building friendships with young people. As well in 2019, we continued our Nexus AIYM which provides theological training, education in a classroom setting. We began in Cebu City, Philippines with 25 Filipino Youth Mission Staff Workers. In 2018 we trained 25 indigenous youth workers in Cebu City, Philippines. Nexus has continued the AIYM initiative in Nepal training with 24 indigenous adult youth leaders. We also are in partnership with Fort Collins Bible Church who are conducting a one year biblical/theological weekly training course using Zoom technology. 30 Filipino youth workers attend weekly online meetings. Nexus continues our Ambassador initiative and have added our 4th and 5th Ambassadors (of youth ministry) in Uganda. These additions are in Central and East Asia. These Ambassadors are not legal employees of Nexus but continue on in/with their church or other Christian youth serving organization in their communities with a vision of identifying and empowering Christian youth workers around their community, nation and region of the world. Our best estimate based tangible relationships we currently have with 191 catalytic youth mission leaders of from 60 different nations is that the indirect impact of Nexus in 2019 with young people was approximately 150,000 young people per week.”
