Ctic is actively sending communications highlighting grants, loans or resources for the business community or providing technology resources to students, nonprofits and jobseekers, the ctic was a go to resource. In continuing our community partnerships with carroll community college, mcdaniel college and the carroll county workforce development office, the ctic has offered a reduced membership rate to those individuals who have an interest in technology. The ctic has provided financial support to local robotics programs, md stem festival, and members have volunteered and donated time to those programs serving as judges and mentors. Ctic members have also participated in numerous community events and forums where they have been the "technologists- or experts regarding various topics. Our staff and members serve on the advisory board to tech incubators in the community as well as in the region, as well serving on the county's long-term advisory council, carroll county broadband advisory board, and carroll county's workforce development board. The ctic ed was also a member of the organizing committee for the first carroll county women's conference. He is an active member of the rural maryland council, participating in the health committee and a series of transportation conversations regarding non-emergency transportation in rural areas of maryland.
