The artist overseeing the project was david hale, and the lyndon house arts center facilitated the mural art-based youth programming. Together hale and the lyndon house worked with youth during afterschool, weekend, and summer classes that focused on the content and layout of the mural. The murals permanent location is at the corner of pulaski and washington street. The mural was dedicated on june 24, 2016 in historic downtown athens.”
