Mission and Program Overview

Mission

The judith river foundation curates and prepares paleontological resources for use in educational programs, scientific research, and interpretive displays, with the goal of advancing knowledge and benefiting the public through accessible exhibitions. The foundation maintains permanent exhibitions of dinosaurs and other prehistoric specimens to foster appreciation, engagement, and understanding of the region's prehistoric heritage, and offers hands-on opportunities for youth and adults to participate in fossil exploration, excavation, and laboratory work in collaboration with museum staff and paleontologist partners.
