To promote appreciation of the arts
Major Activities
- Activity 2
- Cattaraugus county arts council, inc. Sponsors hands on, free and low-cost workshops related to artistic activities in libraries and other venues throughout the county. In addition to the library series, ccac offers more intensive fee based courses and workshops for individuals of all ages and artistic abilities. Further, the ccac provides information services through a bimonthly newsletter for members and artists.
- Activity 3
- Seneca arts virtual incubator (savi) is a business program designed to provide seneca and southern tier area artists with one year of arts business training, career counseling, marketing and support services. The program began in january 2011 with 25 participating artists. The program consists of in-person classes, online webinars, assigned readings and peer group meetings and discussions. The program culminates in a portfolio review and a group exhibition. The savi program provides a unique opportunity for artists to learn essential business skills from arts industry professionals within a supportive environment of peers.
