Through July 7, 2011, its mission was to promote the healthcare of Central New York residents by facilitating the availability of rental income properties for use by area healthcare providers. Pursuant to an Asset Purchase Agreement effective July 7, 2011 (the Transaction), CGH Properties and its related organizations Community General Hospital of Greater Syracuse, CGH Office Building and CGH Health Services, transferred substantially all assets and certain liabilities to the State of New York Upstate Medical University (Upstate). As a result, CGH Properties ceased operations and has been in the process of winding down its affairs.
