“KCE's primary program is to distribute medical software and train doctors and medical professionals in its use in clinical practice. KCE is a 501 c 3 public charity dedicated to transforming pediatric care in under sourced communities by enabling doctors to care for sick children more effectively and at lower cost. Further info can be found at our website at www.kidscareeverywhere.org. We do this by donating software called PEMSoft and training doctors and medical professionals in its use.This software is available primarily as a mobile application, resident on a smart phone. It is often installed on hospital servers, so that it is available to all hospital personnel, for daily use. Web based versions are also available, but used less frequently. PEMSoft is gifted to KCE by EBSCO Health, Ipswich, Ma. During the fiscal year 2016-2017, KCE visited and trained doctors in two locations in Amritsar, India. 5 board members and 13 total volunteers conducted trainings in two major hospitals. Hospital Sri Guru RamDas Medical Research and Training School, a private hospital in Amritsar, as well as Hospital Government Medical College, the public hospital. In total, 487 doctors were trained. Doctors at both locations were enthusiastic and eager to incorporate PEMSoft into their everyday practice. To facilitate this, Dr. Amarinder Singh was left on the ground to continue training and coordination of PEMSoft into the hospital infrastructure and daily practices. Additionally, a team of two KCE staff revisited the two previously visited hospitals in Lima Peru - Hospital Nacional Dos de Mayo, and Hospital Nacional Cayetano Heredia. Here PEMsoft was reinforced as a leaning tool in the clinical settings of the hospitals.”

“Contract staff expenses total $17,342. These staff organize and participate in programs, and handle general operational issues. Outside contractual services total $2500, to provide web design services. Total expenses were $19,842.”
