Mission

The brinckerhoff elementary pta's mission, in common with those of the new york state pta and the national pta, is: a. To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship. B. To raise the standards of home life. C. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth. D. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teacher may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth. E. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

Family picnic: the family picnic is held in june for brinckerhoff students and families on the brinckerhoff playground. The one-day event and includes barbeque dinner, snacks, music and entertainment, and arts and crafts. The objective of this picnic is to create and develop the brinckerhoff community.

Arts in education: dducational assemblies were provided for students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. The assemblies were performed in brinckerhoff elementary school's cafeteria and in the classrooms. The objective of theses assemblies is to expand the educational base that brinckerhoff elementary school provides in the classrooms.

Parents as reading partners (parp): funds for reading events, incentives and rewards for k-5.
