| IRS990/Desc | 0 | Beverwyck provides a "home for the aged" including 198 independent living apartments and cottages, and health care for the elderly in a 41-unit enriched housing residence, as well as a 24-bed skilled nursing facility. The retirement community serves residents 60 years of age and older, and provides security, maintenance, dining, activities and amenities to allow residents to stay independent as long as possible. The assisted living residence provides assistance with the activities of daily living, as well as health related services to its residents. The Skilled Nursing Facility provides therapy, dental, optometry, podiatry, social work counseling, housekeeping and personal laundry, religious services, family support groups, various activities (on and off-site), cable TV, telephone and internet. Beverwyck is committed to making its services and facilities available to those residents who can no longer meet the financial obligations of residency to the extent that it is financially feasible to do so.
