“Our bylaws were adopted in 2004 when we filed for our nonprofit status. The major changes are: directors - the number of directors was increased from 9 to 11. Board composition is now officers, president, vice president, treasurer and secretary, with six additional directors with primary responsibility for programs, youth programs, fundraising, cultural competency training and technology. There is one additional director at large. This person is to help where needed. Meetings - confirm monthly board meeting on the 4th wednesday of each month, with the december being the annual meeting membership - allow the board to create a non-voting membership as a source of fundraising through dues and to foster community support for pbcd, with privileges of membership to be set by the board.”
