The supportive children's advocacy network (scan) was formed to prevent and combat child abuse and neglect in the east harlem and the south bronx communities of new york city. The organization continues to provide extensive culturally sensitive services for the children, youth, and families of these neighborhoods. The organization's services are family-focused and asset-based and are delivered by a skilled bi-lingual staff.
