The organization accounts for any uncertain tax positions in accordance with the income taxes topic of the fasb asc. The topic prescribes a recognition threshold and measurement process for financial statement recognition of uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. In evaluating the organization's exempt status, interpretations and tax planning strategies are considered. The organization believes it is not exposed to any current or future tax liability based on its current operations. The organization's income tax filings are subject to audit by various taxing authorities. The organization's open audit periods are primarily the year ended june 30, 2015, the six month period ended december 31, 2015, and the years ended december 31, 2016 through december 31, 2017.
