Activity 2

Met life- learning for life:metlife learning for life is a ya signature core service as defined by the organization's strategic plan. The program utilizes a creative problem solving approach to engage young people in the imaginative thinking, critical assessment, and engaged focus that are inherent in the arts-often referred to as 21st century learning skills. Learning for life is comprised of in-depth residencies that follow a model residency framework designed to incorporate the four essential arts elements; experience, understand, create, and connect to other areas of learning. As of fall 2012, learning for life residencies are being implemented in 13 ya affiliates nationwide.

Activity 3

Ya national network services and support:fy 2013 ya national and affiliate organizations continue to implement a network wide plan for improving young audiences' core services and programs throughout the country. In doing so, ya programs have become more student centered, outcome based and measurably affective in order to enhance the creative learning and life skills of all children and youth.
