Activity 2

Rehabilitation Services: Services are provided to people who have hearing loss regardless of age. An Auditory-Oral center-based speech and language therapy program is provided to infants and children. Speech reading, auditory training, speech and language therapy is provided to adults with all degrees of hearing loss. The Emotional Health and Wellness Department provides emotional counselling and evaluation to individuals who communicate using oral language and/or American sign language.

Activity 3

Florida Operations: In Florida, programs and services are offered to infants, children, adults and seniors who are deaf or hard of hearing, and their families. Clinical services include diagnostic audiological evaluations and hearing aid fittings, case management, psychological evaluations, mental health counselling for adults and children, outpatient substance abuse, counselling for youth and families, speech therapy for children, and job placement. Out of school time programming is provided after school year and summer including employment and training opportunities for high school students. Our Florida office is a distribution center for specialized telephone equipments for all Florida Residents with hearing loss under Florida Telecommunictaion Relay Inc.
