John B Pierce Foundation

Research, educational, technical or scientific work in the general fields of heating, ventilation and sanitation, for the increase of knowledge to the end that the general hygiene and comfort of human beings and their habitations may be advanced, and in general fields of public health and hygiene, physiology, psychophysics, energy utilization and conservation, environmental studies, ecology and related areas of knowledge. The john b. Pierce laboratory, inc. (also an organization exempt under section 501(c)(3)) was organized for the same educational and scientific purposes as those of the john b. Pierce foundation. The foundation is classified as a supporting organization under internal revenue code section 509(a)(3) and supports the scientific research of the john b. Pierce laboratory, inc.
