IRS990/Desc0Health Jam, Inc. formed a partnership with Jewish Community Council of Greater Coney Island - Work Experience Program to develop and implement a three month program to run four times per year. The program targets young people living in New York City - Five Boroughs and was under the Club Jam Program: health educational workshops and the Home & Baby Jam program. These programs help young people to learn how to prevent HIV/AIDS and TSDs and unplanned pregnancies; healthy relationships; job development and readiness including computer and retail training. In addition, we also formed with Henry Street Settlement and DYCD to run a summer program for youth to work in the Home & Baby Jam Program and learn about retail: cashier, inventory control, management, and sales.
