Activity 2

At gibb mansion, pacc's 71-unit supportive housing project for chronically ill and low-income individuals, we provide responsive and compassionate care to the residents who call it home. On staff are three social workers, two case workers, a resident manager, registered nurse, chef and kitchen assistant, and an activities coordinator. Residents receive one-on-one counseling every week and case managers and social workers are always available to help residents with healthcare issues, money management, and necessary advocacy and referrals. Gibb mansion is always bustling with activity; residents share five fresh, hot meals per week, and the activities coordinator keeps the schedule full of classes, outings, parties and community events. The community at gibb mansion is thriving, as staff and residents work together to create a positive, healthy and empowering environment that facilitates healing and wellness. In fiscal year 2012-2013, 72 individuals were housed there, 50 chronically ill individuals received case management and counseling, and two residents became ready for independent living.

Activity 3

Housing development- since 1988 pacc has developed 982 units of affordable apartments, condominiums, co-ops and homes through various financing tools including lihtcs, home subsidies, nys ahc funds, nyc hdc bonds, fhlb of ny ahp grants, etc. During fy2013, pacc completed construction on a 98 unit supportive housing project for formerly homeless individuals with mental disabilities and/or substance abuse and the moderate rehab of a 71 unit rent stabilized building which w will become a limited equity cooperative plus we closed on an 18 unit occupied historic building now in construction.
