Activity 2

Visitor services:Holiday Celebrations include events held during sixteen days in December and include First Night, Nanny Night, Holiday Tea, and the Tea and Tours. Additional events are being planned which focus on children's programs. The Visitor Services Department has the responsibility of enforcing the guidelines for the protection and preservation of Westbury House and the Gardens as it comes in contact with the public. The department supervises collections care, maintains the cleanliness of the House, and handles the logistical requirements for events held at Westbury House and in the Gardens. The Visitor Services Department is also responsible for the Public and Educational programs, Group Tours, and Volunteer Support. Visitor Services is also responsible for the contracting and logistics of the Picnic Pops, Broadway Show, North Shore Pops, Scottish Games, Antique Auto Show, Porsche and BMW Shows, Mozart Festival, and the Art Exhibition.

Activity 3

Education and community services:Environmental Education programs include community outreach lectures conducted offsite by volunteers and staff of Old Westbury Gardens as well as the onsite Caring for Kids! Seeds for Thought roundtable. Children and Family Programs include Garden tours and events like the Bug Safari, Bat Walk, Owl Prowl, TreeMendous Arbor Day Celebration, Storybook Strolls, Early Bird Walks, and KidsFest.
