Pacific house, inc. (ph) is a countywide multi-service agency currently operating out of stamford, norwalk and danbury, that is committed to ending homelessness in fairfield county. As a leading housing developer for the homeless, ph is committed to the ongoing development of affordable housing for individuals and families who are homeless, and provide case management services that will support success in housing. Ph is also a leading emergency shelter provider in both the city of stamford and danbury connecticut, committed to innovation and evidenced based practices in support of high quality and standards.

Form 990, Page 2, Part III, Line 2

New initiatives in april of 2020, open door of fairfield county coc asked pacific house, inc. To assist with the city of danbury in supporting their efforts to provide emergency services to the homeless population. In may of 2021 pacific house, inc. Purchased a hotel with the intent of creating an emergency shelter and develop affordable housing for homeless individuals. We also purchased and brought on line six new properties that provide affordable housing for forty-four (44) tenants who were formally homeless in stamford, connecticut. We also did a major capital enhancement of 850,000 in our emergency shelter in stamford, connecticut, making it more suitable for the challenges faced with covid. Program services accomplishments this year in addition to expanding our services to danbury, connecticut, we opened our new office in fairfield commons providing supportive case management services for our tenants. In coordination with our continuum of care pacific house, inc. Launched several new initiatives that include the expansion of our outreach services, our young adult program by two case managers, rapid rehousing and diversion. The biggest accomplishment was navigating the agency through covid 19 whereby only one (1) guest, out of 125 who we reserved, came down with covid during the year. Housing accomplishments throughout the pandemic, we continue our housing development with the gut rehab of two buildings and renovations of 5 apartments at fairfield commons and in our norwalk facilities in connecticut.
