“Health initiatives include free monthly health clinic, health programs/conferences, and advocacy. These programs are provided by volunteer physicians, dentists, and nurse practitioners. Sewa provided services to over 4,500 people in 2015. Education on heart disease, diabetes and nutrition education. Completed a healthy survey specific to south asian community living in minnesota for mdh in health disparities . The report came out in 2015. Over 100 people participated in the survey in 2015. Worked closely with community members over 100 to coordinate the survey.”

“Crisis line and women's programs provide support and education as it related to domestic violence, immigration issues, and educating them on assimilating into this country in a culturally specific way. Served over 2,000 hrs spent in consulting and counseling serving women in 2015 and received over 120 crisis line calls.”
