Fire and emergency response training: organization of joint emergency response training for members. This annual training consisted of 3 local fire schools, which trained indivuduals included 1 all-expense paid trip for individuals to the state fire academy in baton rouge, la for additional training. Also included maintaining an emergency warning system.

Adopt-a-mile program: highway right-of-way grounds keeping, covering a total of nine miles along highway 43. This includes trash pickup and disposal, cutting grass, and trimming and fertilizing crepe myrtles.

Community day event: this provides interaction between the member representatives and citizens of the surrounding community. The members hosted booths and recreational activities for informing citizens about their various industries. Approximately 1200 individuals attended this event.
