IN 1969, CCA FOUNDED ITS OWN CAMPS AND TODAY OPERATES TWO SITES AND ALSO PROVIDES REFERRAL AND SCHOLARSHIP SERVICES TO UNDERSERVED YOUTH. TODAY, CCA SERVES 450-500 CHILDREN A YEAR THROUGHOUT GREATER BOSTON AND SPECIALIZES IN SERVING YOUTH WHO HAVE BEEN IMPACTED BY TRAUMA. IF IT WERE NOT FOR CCA, MANY DESERVING FAMILIES IN THE GREATER BOSTON AREA WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE LIFE-CHANGING EXPERIENCE OF SUMMER CAMP FOR THEIR CHILDREN.CAMBRIDGE ADVENTURE DAY CAMP (CADC) OFFERS YOUTH AGED 5-12 ART, ATHLETIC, AND NATURE ACTIVITIES; SWIMMING, LITERACY, AND EXPLORATION OF BOSTON. A 5-WEEK DAY CAMP, CADC PROVIDES ALL BUSING, FEES, AND HEALTHY MEALS. FOCUS IS ON FRIENDSHIP, ENGAGEMENT, AND NEW EXPERIENCES IN A SUPPORTIVE, DIVERSE COMMUNITY.
