The Vice Chair of Health to Hope Clinics' Board of Directors owns an insurance agency from which the organization purchases its D&O and other insurances. However, when the decision was made to purchase insurance through the Vice Chair's agency, the Vice Chair recused himself from voting and left the room when the vote took place.

ADDRESSING THE COMPLICATED INTERSECTION OF CRITICAL HUMAN NEEDS OF THE UNDER-SERVED AND VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY IS AT THE FOREFRONT OF UCAP'S SERVICE DELIVERY MODEL. PARTNERING WITH LOCAL AND NATIONAL LIKE-MINDED ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS, UCAP EMBRACES SUSTAINABLE, REPRODUCIBLE, COMMUNITY-BASED SOLUTIONS TO HEALTH CARE THAT ENHANCES COMMUNITY LIVABILITY FOR SHELTERED AND UNSHELTERED HOMELESS FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS. UCAP SERVICES HOMELESS PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE, WHETHER IT LITERALLY BE ON THE STREET OR IN A PART, AN ENCAMPMENT UNDER A FREEWAY BY-PASS OR IN A SHELTER. WE TAKE PRIMARY CARE AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO THE HOMELESS VIA OUR STREET MEDICINE PROGRAM, MOBILE CLINIC PROGRAM, AND FIXED SITE CLINIC PROGRAM WITHIN SHELTERS OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY.
