Mission

Education & cultural enrichment of audiences

The Band was formed in 2002 as a not-for-profit organization for the purpose ofdeveloping a quality musical band open to men and women that are gay, lesbian,heterosexual, and all other sexual orientations. Through its musical performances,the band makes a positive contribution to the community by providing educational,cultural, and social enrichment for its members and audiences.

The board will review the tax returns and contact the cpa with any inquiries or exceptions. Upon clearing all exceptions and inquiries, the returns are then finalized and a copy is provided to the board president.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IMPOSES A DUTY TO DISCLOSE UPON ANY OFFICER OR DIRECTOR THAT MAY HAVE A CONFLICT OF INTEREST AS DEFINED IN THEIR CONFLICT POLICY. IN ADDITION, EACH BOARD MEMBER OR OFFICER WILL SIGN A STATEMENT ANNUALLY CONFIRMING THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY AND THAT THEY HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE POLICY. ANY CONFLICTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE REPORTED IMMEDIATELY TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. IF A POTENTIAL CONFLICT ARISES, THE BOARD WILL MEET AND CONFER TO MAKE A DETERMINATION IF A CONFLICT EXISTS AND TAKE APPROPRIATE CORRECTIVE ACTION.ENFORCEMENT OF THE CONFLICT OF INTERST POLICY IS AS FOLLOWS:------------------------------------------------------------If the board of directors has reasonable cause to believe a member has failed to disclose an actual or possible conflicts of interest, it shall inform the member of the basis for such belief and afford the member an opportunity to explain. The program is in it's 7th year now and has been a tremendous success.
