Mission

We believe that nonprofit organizations providing services to and for people with vision loss will adhere to the highest standards of ethical practice and effectiveness in governance, fiduciary responsibility, self- regulations, and financial accountability. And that it is right to provide high quality resources that assist in removing barriers experienced by people with vision loss in their pursuit of the same opportunities in life as sighted people.

To build and nurture a diverse core of future and current leaders within a healthy and vibrant network of private nonprofit organizations throughout the united states whose commitment is to enrich the lives of those living with vision loss and to remove the barriers to the pursuit of opportunities.
