“The 990 is presented to the executive/finance committee. The executive/finance committee reviews the 990 and approves it. After it has been approved, the executive/finance committee presents it to the board of directors for review.”

“On an annual basis, the executive committee of the board will meet and evaluate the compensation of key employees and officers, including the president/ceo. For the review of the president/ceo, the board chair will closely review a self-evaluation completed by the president/ceo, covering all aspects of the organization's performance, and presents his or her assessment of that evaluation. For the coo, cfo, and director of institutional advancement, this process is undertaken by the ceo and presented to the committee with his assessment along with information regarding industry and area compensation levels for similiar roles. Any compensation changes resulting from this process will be approved by the committee. All compesation is paid by hearth, inc.”
