Pace is a program of all-inclusive care for the elderly that enables eligible seniors to remain in their own communities rather than being placed in long-term care facilities. THE ORGANIZATION HAD AN INCREASE IN PROGRAM SERVICES ENROLLMENT.AS A PRIMARY CARE SITE OF THE COMMONWEALTH CARE ALLIANCE (CCA), THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SERVICES TO SENIOR CARE OPTIONS (SCO) ELIGIBLE SENIORS IN THE GREATER LYNN, NORTH SHORE AND CAPE ANN AREAS. CCA RECEIVES REVENUE FROM MEDICARE AND MEDICAID AND PAYS THE MEDICAL CLAIMS DIRECTLY TO THE PROVIDERS UNDER CONTRACT. THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES A MONTHLY PAYMENT FROM CCA REFLECTIVE OF CONTRACTUAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR SERVICES RENDERED TO SCO PARTICIPANTS, WHICH REPRESENTS THE NET OF TOTAL REVENUE RECEIVED BY CCA, LESS MEDICAL CLAIMS AND CERTAIN ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES INCURRED BY CCA. THIS REVENUE IS RECOGNIZED MONTHLY AS EARNED. |
