THE SUMMER SESSION IS PRIMARILY DESIGNED TO STRENGTHEN ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL SKILLS WHILE MAINTAINING PROGRESS ACHIEVED DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR. ELECTIVE AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES ARE COMBINED WITH ACADEMIC COURSES TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF THE WHOLE PERSON IN A CAMP-LIKE ATMOSPHERE. THE SUMMER SESSION IS ALSO A GREAT WAY FOR NEW STUDENTS ENTERING EHS IN SEPTEMBER TO BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH THE CAMPUS, THE FACULTY, AND THEIR PEERS. CLASS SIZE IS KEPT SMALL AS IT IS DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR. WITH AN AVERAGE CLASSROOM RATIO OF FIVE STUDENTS TO ONE TEACHER, ATTENTION IS FOCUSED AND PRODUCTIVITY IS MAXIMIZED. EAGLE HILL EMPHASIZES INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION, AND THE STUDENT TO TEACHER RATIO ENSURES THAT TEACHERS ARE ABLE TO FOCUS ON INDIVIDUAL STUDENT'S SKILLS, INTERESTS, AND TALENTS. |
