Our mission is to connect people to the land to build community and inspire lifelong stewardship. Land's sake combines ecologically-sound land management practices with hands-on environmental education to model how public open space can be used and enjoyed by the community. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, land's sake, inc. Runs a public farm, hosts educational programming for all ages, maintains the town forest for recreational and production uses, and cares for both public conservation and private land. Land's sake adopted a formal coi policy in february 2017 to ensure that new and continuing board members have no business interests related to land's sake (i.e., are not paid by land's sake for any services or products), that board members that choose to run for town positions must leave the board, and that no board member may be an immediate neighbor to the property. This policy was updated during 2023 with the new policy approved by the executive committee.

CSA MEMBERS THEN PICK UP THEIR SHARE OF THE HARVEST ON A WEEKLY BASIS DURING THE GROWING SEASON. DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF SHARE PURCHASED, THESE WEEKLY PICKUPS BEGIN IN JUNE, SEPTEMBER OR NOVEMBER. IN 2024, THE SHARES STARTING IN JUNE WERE EXTENDED TO 21 WEEKS.FOOD FOR HUNGER RELIEF: EACH YEAR, LAND'S SAKE DONATES OVER $25,000 WORTH OF FRESH, LOCAL PRODUCE TOWARDS HUNGER RELIEF EFFORTS IN AND AROUND BOSTON ON BEHALF OF THE TOWN OF WESTON. IN 2024, LAND'S SAKE DONATED AN ADDITIONAL $273,446 WORTH OF PRODUCE TOWARDS HUNGER RELIEF FOR A TOTAL OF OVER $298,000 IN PRODUCE DONATIONS. THIS WAS APPROXIMATELY 30% OF THE TOTAL PRODUCE GROWN ON THE FARM IN 2024.
