The form 990 was prepared by our external accounting firm and presented to the vp of finance and her staff for review. The vp of finance then presents the form to the ceo for review. The ceo then presents form 990 to the audit, finance and compliance committee of the board of directors, acting under authorization by the board, for final review and approval to file.

The audit and finance committee of the board of directors is charged with the responsibility for the selection of hopehealth's independent auditors, and for the oversight of the audit of its financial statements.

Financial Statement Notes

PART X, LINE 2:

The entities are non-stock, non-profit corporations organized in massachusetts. The entities are not-for-profit corporations as described in section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code (the code) and are exempt from federal income taxes on related income pursuant to section 509(a) of the code. The organization accounts for uncertainty in income tax positions in the financial statements by applying a recognition threshold and measurement attribute for financial statement recognition and measurement of a tax position taken or expected to be taken in a tax return. Management has analyzed the tax positions taken and has concluded that as of december 31, 2014, there are no uncertain tax positions taken or expected to be taken that would require recognition of a liability (or asset) or disclosure in the financial statements. The organization is subject to routine audits by taxing jurisdictions; however, there are currently no audits for any tax periods in progress. Management believes the organization is no longer subject to income tax examinations prior to 2011 .
